Hey! We’re Shortswift Studios, a small but mighty creative studio where we make videos, reels, and all kinds of digital content that actually connect with people. We love working on projects that challenge us, let us experiment, and help our clients shine online.

Right now, we’re looking for a Video Editor who’s as passionate about videos as we are. Someone who’s creative, detail-oriented, and knows how to turn raw footage into something that pops. If you love storytelling through visuals and experimenting with styles, you’ll fit right in.

 

This is an onsite role at our Chattogram office, so you’ll be working closely with the team, bouncing ideas around, and making awesome content together. We want someone who’s ready to grow, learn, and bring their own ideas to the table.

Job Responsibilities

As our Video Editor, your main goal will be to turn ideas into stories. You’ll take raw footage and transform it into videos that feel alive, engaging, and meaningful. You’ll collaborate with the team to ensure every video connects with its audience and reflects creativity at its core.

Edit short and long-form videos for social media, campaigns, and projects with storytelling in mind.
Add motion graphics, effects, sound, and music that enhance the story.
Collaborate on concepts and provide creative input to make videos more engaging.
Organize files and assets so the creative process stays smooth.
Ensure every video meets quality standards and tells a story the audience will remember.

Skills & Qulifications

We don't care about the degrees but, we expect that you have a minimum of 4 - 6 years of Editing experience.
Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
Knowledge of color grading, audio design, and visual effects to enhance narratives.
Experience creating content for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, YouTube).
Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail, time management, is self-motivated, and takes ownership of responsibilities.
Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to experiment.
Portfolio or past work demonstrating storytelling through video is a must.

Salary Range
